What You're Paying For
A consulting engagement isn't just a site visit. It includes preparation, travel, on-site time, and a written deliverable that you can use with your team or board.
Pre-Visit Preparation
Research on property history, prior reports, plant species, and site conditions. The more context we have going in, the more efficient and accurate our assessment will be.
On-Site Assessment
Systematic site evaluation with documentation, measurements, photographs, and direct observation. Time on site varies from 1–4+ hours depending on property size and complexity.
Written Report & Recommendations
A clear, professional written deliverable with findings, diagnosis, and specific recommendations — formatted based on the best way to deliver the information to you, from formal scientific reports to simple punch lists with photos and bullets.
Follow-Up Support
We ensure you receive clear written recommendations and a specific action plan, and we follow up to confirm successful execution. Any additional consulting beyond that is subject to fees — if you anticipate ongoing needs, we recommend continuing with a landscape oversight plan.
What's Not Included
To be clear about what we do and don't provide:
Landscape maintenance. We don't plant, prune, or maintain landscapes. We consult with professionals who do.
Phone or email-only consultations. Our process requires being on the property. We don't provide remote diagnosis.
Small scope or single plant questions. Our minimum engagement is appropriate for properties where professional consulting is warranted by scope or complexity.
